I am trying to identify this Japanese or Chinese token. I assumed Japan due to the torii gate and waves.

I have not been able to translate the seal script.

It is 6.32g and 31mm diameter.

Thank you for the translation. The coin puzzle has now become a geography puzzle.

I searched for Kutsushima but cannot find it.

Searching for the characters leads me to Kuchishima (or Kuchijima) Island, but that seems to be from a fictional story. Any idea of the location?
