l. New to the group and fairly new to coin collecting as well. I had a question on a couple coins. First up is a 1981 D Washington quarter. It is black. You can tell by looking at the coin that it is embedded in the quarter. 2nd is a 2001 P Vermont state quarter. The finish on it resembles pewter. The 3rd is a 1963 D nickel. It looks like it was black at one point and the black wore off. Someone told me black beauty but the years don't line up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
