Centenary of Nelson’s death Victory Copper Medalet

7 berichten • 45 keer bekeken

Good evening,

I have this medalet commemorating the centenary of the death of Nelson created by the British and Foreign Sailor’s Society which is from 1905. It has a weight of 11.84g, diameter of 28.5mm, and composition of Victory Copper (i.e. copper from HMS Victory). One source I found seemed to suggest it is exceedingly rare, though there isn’t much information on it. I am interested to know if anyone else has it, and what its value could be, because I have not gotten a conclusive answer.

About 10 Numista members have it. I don't know the value but I found it being sold on ebay for US $64.31.

Ah thank you, sadly I have not found real mintage numbers anywhere, do you know where I could potentially find these figures?

I really doubt if they still available.

Yes of course, I meant the number originally made by the British and Foreign Sailor’s Society

I really doubt if they (the mintages) are still available.

Yes I suppose.
