fake
why?
The details of sun yat-sen are way off. Plus, there are too many fakes of this coin type for me to trust an unslabbed coin, N#16370
Well then , what is the material? The color is subtle, but I think it's silver based on the thickness and weight.
That is part of the trickery - sometimes fakes can be made out of different material,
and so are more likely to be detected - and sometimes a fake is made out out
the correct material, and so increasing the chance it may be accepted.
では、銀で出来た偽物ということですか?

They do exist, the possible numismatic value they could get for it is higher than the cost of making them out of the correct material.
本当に申し訳有りませんが、何が言いたいのか全然分かりません。
これらは確かに存在し、それによって得られる可能性のある貨幣価値は、適切な材料からそれらを作るコストよりも高いです。
A google translate, may not be accurate though
In other words, you think it is unlikely to be a fake because it requires materials and labor of equal or greater value than the real thing to make a fake?
No sorry I think it is a fake. The silver is cheaper than the potential value they can sell it for.
thank you. So does this mean that even though this coin is fake, it is made of silver?

No one here is saying it is made of silver, only you are saying that and only you can determine if it is or isn’t. The other members here are saying that a possible fake could be made of silver, not necessarily yours. I personally (after looking at the images) don’t think it is made of silver. The metal / toning is too dark and uniform for authentic toning on real silver.
A jewellers will be able to determine if it is made of silver, I personally doubt it.
Thank you
