Hi,

I have a few coins from Israel and Jordan, but I can't read the dates as the Israel ones are in Hebrew, maybe the Jordan ones also?  Any help appreciated.

Find the coin in the catalogue and the Hebrew dates will be in the comments, you then have to match the date using your eyes and a magnifying glass. Use the denomination, material or diameter/weight in the search fields to narrow it down, or you can be lazy and just take a photo with the photo search tool!

Jordanian coins will have Arabic numerals which are easy to learn, search the website as I am sure there is a page explaining the different numbers somewhere. I don’t have Arabic numerals on my keyboard, but here are some to help you with the denomination.

0 = resembles .

1 = resembles l

5 = resembles 0

9 = resembles 9

Thank you everyone for your help

Take 5 minutes and memorize the numbers and you will never be bothered with dates again in life ☺️

I wouldn't know. Unfortunately the Numista table is locked and can't be edited.

Hi All,

I have tried to work out some of these dates, but I am getting nowhere.  attached is an example

I believe this is the date.

Looks like התשנ"ה  5755 (1995)

Thank you - couldn't  see that!
