The webpage N#203191 only shows signature number (signature 15, signature 8 etc.)
How to find out the combination of Governor and Finance Minister from these numbers?
Refer to the page for ¼ dinar banknote webpage that clearly shows the combination (although even there, pictures would be better, but at least it specifies the names so we can search for the pictures on internet and see which combination it is)
When you see numbers they are most likely come from Pick and the one who added them was to lazy add or research the actual names. In the likely case that the signatures are not already in the Numista database you can look on Banknote Museum for examples with Krause signature numbers most often listed.
Including signatures is an important task here at Numista. Some are easy to obtain, others not so much.
On Moneypedia, the signatures for Kuwait don't have a white background, which means we have to do the extra work of removing the white backgrounds.
Can we work together on this? =)
I can try my hand at it… I think I can click reliable pictures using my S24 Ultra phone (quicker to edit and share). However, if you need to get it done only using DSLR, I have a Nikon D5100 as well… If you can send me some documentation as to what's the right way of clicking there, I can at least start with what I have…
Do we add signatures to listings (which may restrict them to just that listing alone) or can we add it to a database, so the signature panel is attached to the listing automatically?
High resolution pictures clean up of signatures way easier, especially when busy background. So what ever can do the better makro pictures should be used to take the pictures. You can then make a new thread asking for background removal if you can't do it yourself.
We have images on Moneypedia, and some are even in good quality. Just remove the colored backgrounds.
I took the initiative to create a spreadsheet with the names of the members of the Central Bank of Kuwait and the Kuwait Monetary Council whose signatures were used.
