Belize banknotes without the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II! 😯

The last local issue of banknotes was at the beginning of the last decade. Very beautiful!

Unfortunately, the republican rubbish are taking over the Caribbean - including in Belize!

Not including King Charles III in the designs is an insult to monarchist minded people in Belize.

Quite a nice video about all the features, even UV appearances.

Nice video: thanks for sharing. I like the wildlife featured on the backs of the $10 & $20. We saw a toucan in Costa Rica but no pumas (thank goodness). 

I did some research on the Mayan numerals used on Guatemalan notes and created a nice video.  I was pleased to see that this new family of notes included Mayan numerals on their banknotes as well.  They are part of the offset register and appear on every denomination of the new series.

I will be getting the 2 & 5 Dollars from this series - along with the 2022 5 Dollars.
