Collectors, is it a real coin or token?

Its a token, Biafra only made one lot of coinage for a very short time when they broke away from Nigeria however ths didn't last very long !
Does Biafra even exist?

I can image a ton of collectors thinking that this coin is worth something though.

No Kenny, it did briefly it broke away from the federation of Nigeria for a very short spell. The die-hards are probably still producing coins that have no value to remember a time when they did and to sell on to tourists or sell on eBay I would imagine, if you find some original Biafra coins they are actually VERY expensive for what they are..
Aha I meant to say "Did Biafra even exist... after it had collapsed for the 3 year span it had existed?"

I think Biafra coins and notes are interesting, since they tell a part of untold history. But it's better for banknote collectors than coin collectors, since 1 pound notes are relatively common in UNC.

I did think you would've known that like lol !

It'll just be people living in that area making them or people who still believe in the cause likely..
