I have the 1973 Hyderabad mint but I don't know which one I have. I would prefer to identify it myself before asking for assistance but the descriptions of each KM# (18.4,18.5,18.6) is exactly the same.

KM#18.4 (Type 1 Ashoka lion on obverse; 11mm "5"- Denomination Numeral)

KM#18.5 (Type 1 Ashoka lion on obverse; 11mm "5"- Denomination Numeral)

KM#18.6 (Type 1 Ashoka lion on obverse; 11mm "5"- Denomination Numeral)

So, is there a difference? If so, what is it?

This may help:

KM# 18.4 is only for 1972 coins.  Also KM# 18.6 is Type 2, not Type 1.

SCWC:

So for 1973 only .5 and .6 apply and the difference should be in the Types 1 or 2.

It does help, Thank you.
