Hi,

Is it safe to assume that I have [ND (1965), K (Senegal) P#701Kf, Signatures: Bamba Ould Yezid & Robert Julien] banknote in my collection:

Thanks in advance!

Yours doesn't have a country letter but I would also not be sure where to put it, there are quite a few issues with that year table (en/fr seem not completely one too). According to the French side the signature combination should be e (Bamba Ould Yezid & Robert Julienne), at least the damaged signature looks most like that one.

Hi,

French West African states notes from Senegal (like P-701Kf) have a letter after the prefix and yours does not.

I believe its is the 1962 version, P-2b from the Ivory Coast because it probably has “M. S. M'khaitirat & R. Julienne” signatures, No Date & the “K” prefix (no suffix). It looks a lot like the P-2b note on the Banknote Museum (link below).  I cannot understand the Numista entry but it appears as if several West African States have been lumped together (& I cannot really discern one category from the other).

Check this BNM entry for the P-2b note
