Hello everyone. I would  like  to show to you my coins namely the jefferson nickel 1965 & 1966. I noticed that both this coins somehow truly differs from other regular strike coins. If i am right i think i found a special processed strike coin particularly the 1966. But though the 1965 is worn and full of scratches i still believed that its an sms coin too.

if i may i would like to seek your expertise on this matter. Herewith are their photos.

thanking you all in advance.

Greetings, Abbe.  The SMS coins from 1965-1967 were not distributed as circulation issue.  They were only available in sets which are easily purchased from an LCS (Local Coin Shop) today.  Although it is possible that someone could remove coins from an SMS set and spend them, it is very unlikely.

I have an SMS set, and all I see in your pictures are typical circulation quality coins.

As an aside, note the low price range for complete SMS sets contained in OGP (Original Government Packaging) below:

Hello my good Sir. It makes me sad. All the while i really thought that they were sms coins because they really differa from all of my same coin collection.
