Ancient Greek brass coin?

Hello. Can anyone help me identify this coin? It weighs about 7.8 grams and has an average diameter of a little over 20 milimetres. It has a golden shine which I think could indicate it is made of brass. Please let me know your thoughts on this.

I bought it a little while ago from a local antique dealer who had a good selection of ancient coins. He said it was from Ptolemaic Egypt but I cannot find any coins of the Ptolemies made of brass, and almost all have the eagle standing left, not right as on my coin. I think Mithridates VI of Pontus and cities under his control had some early issues of brass coins. Could my coin be from his reign?

Any help would be much appreciated and I would be especially grateful to anyone who can read the legend.

Thanks. That's helped a lot!

I've found a very similar type here:https://silver.kbr.be/Thessalonica_(Roman_Republic),_bronze,_ca_9g_(Zeus/eagle_on_thunderbolt)_(80-50_BCE)

However, this does appear to be bronze rather than brass. Does anyone know if there was much variation in the compositions of coins of this era?

Forbidden - that link says. No idea what is on there.

It's just bronze.
