Help Me please identifying this coin

6 berichten • 194 keer bekeken

Can somebody help me in identifying this fragment of coin?

It represents on one side a temple and on the other one a cross with four globes (or five, I'm not sure).

Is seemed a Carolingian coin but it is not made of silver and it seems “poorly” manufactured. I've searched across several sites and catalogues but never found something that looks like this.

Thank you for any help!

Hi, it would help us if you can mention the weight, what you can read on it  (even a few letters) and where you found it.

It looks like a temple style Denier like this one N#330417 or an obol but there are many of them in the catalogue

Try to take closer pictures at a different angle?

I've compared it with every coin in this catalogue and yet, the temple looks different in every coin.. Furthermore, it's not silver and this makes it a bit more challenging
