Should the following be deleted off the catalog?:

Blue Ridge Parkway ND

Battle of Fort Sumter ND

Grand Canyon National Park ND

Confederate Railroads ND

Mount Rushmore National Memorial ND

Flag of the United States of America ND

WWII - M4 Sherman Tank ND

According to the scope of Numista, these are by definition “banknotes coloured after their official issuance”.

I hear every coin you jingle!

« Only genuine Legal Tender $2 United States Bills are used for this unique colorization process  ».

Source Merrick Mint : https://www.merrickmint.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=civil+war

Even though the process produces a fairly clean result, these souvenir/fantasy banknotes are effectively out of scope.

X @NumisMedal

The following items are not in the scope of Numista:

  • Stamps (but stamp coins are welcome)
  • Medals, orders, and decorations that are dissimilar to coins:
  • Post-mint plated or coloured coins (note that modified coins, such as elongated pennies, are in the scope of exonumia) and banknotes coloured after their official issuance

Seems quite clear.

So these should be deleted off the catalog since these are just recoloured $2 bills

I hear every coin you jingle!
