Help ID: Barbarous Imitation?

Does this look like an imitation? The reverse is a Phrygian or Macedon helmet.

It certainly looks like an imitation. The lettering alone is obviously meaningless.

There's a lot more that was written than I thought on so-called barbarous imitations. Here is the search “barbarous” in the Numista library.
