Help identifying Sasanian Arab copper coins [opgelost]

1 bericht • 32 keer bekeken

A copper coin found in the city of Isfahan, Iran, is made of copper and is 2 centimeters in diameter. On one side of this coin, in the upper left corner, it appears to be written Muhammad, which is still difficult to distinguish. I also guess that the shape in the middle of the coin is two lions standing opposite each other. Please advise me on what this coin is. Thank you.

In this photo, in the upper left corner, it appears to be written "Muhammad" and in the middle of this coin, it appears to be two lions standing facing each other. You have to rotate the photo to make the two lions clear.

On this side of the coin, there is only the same pattern of two lions inside the round pattern in the left corner of the coin.
