Unknown Islamic States #19

Hello all,

I have a coin that I think is from the Islamic states or more likely from the Mongol States. Reason that is the case is mainly on the side of how the coin has some elements found in the Islamic states but some key characteristics are not common there but more towards the Mongol States. 

Here are the specs:

• 1.47g in weight
• 16 to 17mm in diameter
• 1mm in thickness
• Bronze composition
• Image of a face on the obverse which is not common for Islamic coins which is why it makes me think Mongol states.
• an unknown monogram on the reverse

I do not think it is mongol since there is a clear “M” and a face in the other side

So is most likely to be from byzantine empire 40 Nummi

Or could be also arab-byzantine, but I do not know more details.
