Iranian exchange rate on Numista. [opgelost]

Good afternoon from the Philippines, and the protests in Iran is ongoing due to depreciated value of the Iranian rial. However, according to Numista, the 1,000,000 rial banknote still has a value of around US$24 or ₱1412 instead of less than a US dollar. 

According to Google, 1,000,000 rials are now equal to less than a US dollar or ₱54.

Please update the exchange rate of the Iranian rial ASAP as the system of US$1 = IRR 42,000 in official exchange rate is now even outdated. It is to avoid confusion between numismatists as well. Thank you.

As of 22 January 2026, the Iranian rial exchange rate on Numista still does not reflect the current detoriating value as other platforms do. 

As of 5 February 2026, the exchange rate still does not comply with the current trends, as Numista is still using the US$1 = ~IRR 42,000 system.

Sorry for that. I chased our exchange rate provider up.

So, basically, it’s not just Numista to have a non-updated exchange rate for the Iranian rial, but also the BanknoteNews whose the new 5,000,000 rial banknote has a value of US$119 instead of just around US$3.
