I don’t think so, way too complicated and pointless. Money is money, it serves its purpose being passed on, over and over. Everything else can be done with phone, card or watch - something you wouldn’t want to be passed from one person to the next.
Plus crypto currency is so volatile how can anyone be sure what is on a face value note, there is a big disconnect here - could that note be worth 100 times more in crypto than its value states.

If they don't yet exist then why create a new type?
Someone is just hedging their bets, I guess. I don’t see them catching on - it is like putting a camera in a phone, two perfectly good things on their own 😂

That is funny. I just watched Blade Runner again. They were so far in the future that they had phones with both voice and images, wow! I think they still had pay phones in it too. Yet they had synthetic humans made from some DNA process. A little anachronistic.
