Any chance someone recognized this one? I've found lots of similar ones here:
http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=maravedis+coin+castle&qs=n&form=QBIR&pq=maravedis+coin+castle&sc=0-0&sp=-1&sk=
But nothing that has the D to the right of the castle or the little flower under the lion's paws.
Any thoughts on where else to search?
Thanks,
Chris

I think is 4 maravedis of Felipe II about 1566.
The D to the right of the castle is the mint official's initial. D=Diego Muñoz.
The bridge to the left of the castle is mint mark. It's the aqueduct of Segovia. So this coin was minted in Segovia.
I'm not sure but I think the symbol under the lion is a pomegranate, symbolizing the kingdom of Granada.
