I got this thing a while back in a bulk lot of foreign coins and really have no clue what it is or what country/region it is from.
It's super thin, the image is stamped so the reverse is simply a negative image. The diameter is 21mm.
Any guesses?

To me it looks like a piece of jewelry in a coin flip.

Thats what I was thinking as well. I could see it in a chain around the waist of a belly dancer, or something like that.
