Czech 50 haléřů 2000 KM#3.2? [opgelost]

6 berichten
I have a Czech Republic 50 haléřů 2000 with large engraver's intials VO.

This would make it a KM#3.2, however, for 2000 only KM#3.1 with small VO is listed. According to NGC, only 2001 has both varieties.

I'm quite sure about the size of the VO, I've got other KM#3's for comparison.

Who can tell more about this oddity?
Shall I add the year to the Numista catalogue?
Here are some scans. The subject under investigation is the one in the middle.

I can't add the year to the coin sheet.

Can anyone from the team please do it for me?

Thanks in advance.
Hello ArnoV and I commend you on your patience and persistence - it is likely that the catalogue team are busy on other projects. You have presented evidence of the 2000 KM#3.2 but there are a couple more details that may be needed:

> Can you confirm that there is also a 2000 KM#3.1 so is there an extra line required or should the coin above replace the one that is there at the moment?

> Do you have, or are you able to obtain, any mintage figures for the two different types or, more likely, do the mintage figures include both?

With regard to actually getting this request published, perhaps you could try sending a PM to one of the team, possibly SmartOne?
Just because you can't see it ... doesn't mean it isn't there - Anon.

I dropped a PM to a Czech Numista member to do a check. He had 5 coins 50h 2000 (one of them in a mint set), and all 5 have large VO.

He suggests that it is an error in the catologue (Numista and NGC), and with a score of 6 large to 0 small I tend to follow his conclusion. (thanks Tom)

I'm going submit a change request to have the date line changed in Numista.
Old thread, but now solved. I also believe this is a catalogue error. I changed it on my own account, as I own these years.
