Hiya all, and to everyone reading im hoping youre having a solid day.
I've recently gotten back into collecting after discovering my old collection from when i was much younger. Ive been genuinely surprised with how organised and extensive it was, and its gotten me back into the hobby honestly.
I remember faintly that i used to buy these big huge joblots off sites like ebay with my dad, and then break them down to their nicest or most interesting pieces. It was nice because it was never too spenny and you got alot of different examples.
However after scrolling through ebay for a few hours i havent found much worth looking at.
So really im just asking, does anyone know of any popular sites alike ebay for the auctioning and selling of coins by bulk? I love the appeal of sites like ebay, chasing a good deal, getting used to certain sellers names, etc. But ive had little luck finding anything similar myself. For me im not too interested in getting crazy value, if i want this i go the brick and mortar antique stores, really im just after huge unsorted bulk, (unsorted is such a crazy word too, i mean just seeing that in a listing tells you immediately its notworth looking at.).
I suppose more or less the gist of what im asking is does anyone know of any good house clearance / auctioning sites? im uk based if that makes any difference, and have an interest in early 20th century, aswell as mid to late 19th century coins. Again i doubt ill really find these in bulk unless im forking over a barrel of cash, but ygm.
