I've tried that before with no success, too many different line items etc just leads to edit wars. You edit the data and someone goes back to the Mint's shop, sees the quantities listed there not knowing most coins are in regular non-collectable rolls and switches it back.

‘Limited to a mintage of three million coins – including two million coloured versions – the new $2 commemorative circulation coin will begin circulating on November 5. Canadians will find it in their change as bank branches and businesses replenish their inventories of $2 coins.’

From my understanding of limited mintages, that is the maximum limit - not necessarily the actual mintage. But I’m not the one wanting it changed, if you’re not willing to do anything about it, why bother making a forum post?

For the record, I did submit a change, and just as predicted it was rejected. Rejected despite links showing the mintage, images of the other formats etc. Because people just keep going to the mint web store, adding up the volumes in the special collectable formats and saying that is the total mintage and ignoring the coins released into general circulation in formats not sold by the mint and thus not visible on the store.

Well you tried, if it was rejected I am sure it was for a good reason. Maybe the evidence you submitted isn‘t from a valid source so the referee can’t allow the change. Unfortunately there are many a member who will attempt to change a coin page for there own reasons and gains.

If you are still convinced you are correct ask for a reason why it was rejected, I am sure the referee will explain themself.
