Why a new currency? Isn’t the one it’s already listed in correct? Even so, I think it is pretty unnecessary to add a new currency for a literal singular coin.

Read the comments section. It's not even thought to have been struck by Howel Dda. It would appear to be an early form of commemorative coin, struck in England.
