CoA and comment box copyright

Hi all, I would like to know if certificates of authenticity (CoAs) are copyrighted, and can be added to the comments section? There is no option for copyright in the comment box. Thank you.

The Royal Mint ones are fine from a copyright point of view, they allow educational use of their materials, images, website text etc. Just need to put ©️The Royal Mint, Year of publishing

This is a CoA from the US mint. The CoA itself is not copyrighted.  The title is shown as a Registered Trademark.  The Numista title for this set is identical.   2025 United States Mint Proof Set – Numista

I should have explained better, I was referring to images from other websites (eBay, auction sites not on the list, etc), but solely the CoA

You're asking if the image is copyrighted or the actual piece of paper… Sounds like one for the expensive lawyers… 🙄

I'm asking if we are allowed to use pictures taken by a third-party so there are no infringement issues down the line

Simple answer: No, unless it's from a source on the list or a user.

You can also not really have a copy right on a picture from a random coin you own (in most places) but we use it as an attribution system to honor the work of the picture taker.
