ID for odd "Roman" Bronze

Hello everybody, 

I have had a couple of bronze/copper coins, unidentified, for some time now. I have been unable to come up with an ID for them, and was hoping I could get some help for that. Here is the first “Roman piece”, with the obverse similar to some republican issues for some reason.
