1943 British Two Shilling coin

I am trying to determine the value of this coin. I suspect it came home with my Dad in 1944, and has been in my Mum's jewellery box since then. I have read that it is 50/50 silver and copper, possible value CA$50.00, depending on the condition. I don't have a clue on this. I would guess AU. What do you all think?

Hello. Check the values here:  2 Shillings - George VI (with 'IND:IMP') - United Kingdom – Numista

Welcome to Numista. Sorry, impossible to even attempt to grade with the photos provided but I am guessing it is worth more in sentimental value even if in AU condition.
