Need info on this 1961Penny no mint mark.

Just wondering if anyone can share some knowledge on this penny. It has a sort of oval shape and wondering if this damage was done during pre circulation or after. Also wondering if it has any value.  

Looking to gain some knowledge on coins of U.S. and foreign coins.

That is a normal 1 cent that looks like someone filed down the rim on.

I would agree with Marc that this is highly likely to be post mint damage!
