Well, a few ago I asked for reform of currencies list based on notes in catalog, but now I am also making a research on the history of the country, for better understanding of the changes on currencies.
Seems DR had 4 periods of independence, with occupation from Spain, the U.S. and Haiti, that caused most of those changes (that's why it show First, Second, Third and Fourth Republics). I will inspect carefully and check with the Dominican Numismatic Society people for a few issues I still don't have clear; then I will ask for an enhaced currency structure that reflect the reality, also taking into account coins.
