Not a Robot

I am logged in and switching from one year to another and it's been switching to asking me if I am a robot, what the heck. Also sometimes when I go back it switches me to the home page and it's magnified. What have you folks done in the last couple of weeks that have got things all screwed up?

I'm guessing the site is getting slammed with requests, either via some kind of denial of service attack or catalog data scraping bots. This would be a counter-measure.

We continuously adjust the captcha rules. Most of the times, logged-in users should not see them. But captchas are triggered for everyone as an automatic protective measure when the website gets overloaded. The goal is really to try to keep the website up during attacks, even if it means that everyone has to go through the annoying captchas and some real users might be blocked. It's just an emergency state while we work on fixing the issue.
