Dear all, I recently got a 2 liards coin of Charles I de Gonzague in my possession from the year 1614. And I saw 2 things that were different than what is described in the catalogue about this coin.
This is mentioned in the catalogue :
Obverse variants:
CAR·GONZ·D·NIV·ET·RETH· (a)
CAR·DVX·NIVERNENS·ET·RET· (b)
Reverse variants:
SVP. PRINCEPS. ARCHENSIS. (1)
DEI. GR. PRINCEPS. ARCHENS. (2)
DEI. GR. PRINCEPS. ARCHENSIS. (3)
But this coin has a third variant on the obverse side : CAR·DVX·NIVERNENS·ET·RETH· (so a variant c) (one of the past sales coins has that too, but on a 1613 coin, so that variant exists (but is not in the list in the catalogue)
And for the date 1614 the catalogue mentions : 1614 b2 but in my case also the reverse variant is different, it is the ‘variant 3 in stead of 2’.
Does anybody has this same variant and shouldn't we add these things into the catalogue.

My coin weighs 4,30 gr, 24,5 mm - copper-
Thanks, Clement (I'll add the coin as example on the Numista catalogue)
