I've made a page for this coin. It's ok?
And at what price would you evaluate the coin?

I'll verify it when I get home.

I would estimate it to be no more than 10 bucks.

Please put this at KM number: C# 1-15
It's from Krause catalog.
I think I might change the catalogue numbers for coinage before machine coinage.

KM#s, C#s, and no catalogue numbers for all of the cast coinage is very inconsistent, I think, so in the future I'm reluctant to use either FD# or S#; most likely FD# although S# is more commonly known.

This mean you ll put C# ?
Eventually.

I'll put the number up for you now. What I was saying though is that the number will be changed in the near future.

That numista# would've been so great  :(
Kawai sou. Too bad we couldn't try that, unless Numista becomes the largest catalogue in the world.

I made all the changes for you. There are two varieties for your coin: six stroke and seven stroke 目 radical in 寶. Six stroke means that the bottom stroke does not touch the second (right vertical) stroke of the character, and the left leg becomes part of the stroke. There is no difference in value between these two varieties, but it would be sweet to have both wouldn't it?  :)

Yours is seven stroke (DH#22.1134) and it's worth about 10 bucks. I don't think the condition should affect the value.

Damn I love varieties.
But I spot 2 things: on KM it says C# 1-15 not C#15.
And it says: Cast Brass, 28-33 mm. Obv. Inscription: T'ung-chih Chung- pao Mint: Hu-pu Board of Revenue Note: Size varies.
There's a reason why I cut out the 1-.

Cowan (I think that's where C# comes from) is very confusing regarding coins from... anywhere in particular, and the 1- represents the mintmark. Therefore, I think this coin should be 2-15 instead of 1-. Nevertheless, I leave it out for better organization.

"Size varies" is not a variety. They do vary, but it's not a notable variety because the characters don't change. "t'ung-chih chung pao" is the Wade-Giles Romanization of Chinese characters. On Numista we use Pinyin because Wade-Giles is virtually non-existant.
