Comparing two coins of the same issue but with different metal appearances

This is a 200 Algerian dinar coin that I found by chance. It is different in terms of color, and it is very faded. At first, I thought that it had been exposed to external factors, even though it was recently issued in 2021. However, the sound is different, and apart from that, all the indicators are correct in terms of weight, size, and engravings. The closest possibility is that it is a coin of a different denomination, "100 dinars". Is it conceivable that a coin would be engraved on a metal piece of a coin of another denomination?
