recently I found this token



I'm not able to read it     looks like a token from Israel to me

Can somebody tell me what is standing there and what is it?

Obverse and reverse are the same,   medal aligned

Not Israeli, that's for sure!

This is a Japanese Pachinko token. It says ゴールド, which means "gold".

Pachinko is Japan's form of gambling. In big cities you will find Pachinko casinos once every few blocks. Based on my experience (and since I'm underaged and can't go inside), they are extremely loud, air conditioned, and don't use tokens like these anymore; they use 1 en or 5 en coins now. You will occasionally find Pachinko casinos in small cities and towns. I think every city must have at least one.
