Change requests disappeared with no further action on them..

I've added info on 1 coin and completely added another waiting to hear back from the cat admin for India (no response yet) and now they've disappeared. There is no sign of the new entry in the catalogue either.. What can be done about it because I really can't be bothered to add it again.
Kenny validated 2 coins I added a while ago. I still have a change request pending from Jul 24. I think the India referee is buried in work. Hopefully he'll get some free time soon..

Edit: now completed

Refrees need to be more responsive... I agree.
There should be some criteria to select members based on numismatic knowledge and free time available and not just interest
No, I don't think that if someone wants to be a referee and doesn't have a lot of spare time, they shouldn't be allowed to do it, but I do mean there should be more than 1 per country where applications permit. I mean not everyone is free all of the time.
Right ?
I am free all the time but I have no knowledge.
remember i for i coins

Nicely put.

What do people consider an acceptable time to wait for ar request to be updated. I have to admit if I make a request for a change I check the next day and almost expect it to be done which is a little unreasonable.

Personally I think a week is ok. But others may disagree.

What does every one think is an acceptable time frame ?
Hello,

Let us be indulgent.
All members of the team are volunteers. Depending of their job they might have more or less time to spend for accept the requests. Some can spend one hour everyday, some other one day every week or one full week every month. Maybe in some countries the holidays are not the same period as yours... There are many reasons for the delay in responding.

The best way to get a quick response is to mention the request in the forum "Numista catalog". So if the country referee doesn't see it, a main team member can work on it.

Have a nice day,
J.
A possible solution would be to have two referees per country.

If I don't verify or submit a page, I'm sorry. School just started and I'm jamming a 300 page book in a one day read.

Hello,

Several bugs affecting the display (and thus the monitoring) of modification requests have been fixed today.
As it was only a display problem, no change request have been lost.

I prefer there is only one referee per country, to avoid coordination problems and dilution of responsibility. General catalog admins can still verify the requests if a referee is over overloaded.
In general case, the request are handled pretty quickly. Still, the current oldest non-verified request dates back to July, and I will work with the referees in charge of these requests.
