FAKES

Hello,

A post in the "Numismatic questions" forum gave me the idea to write a Numista article over "FAKES".
It would list the fakes of all countries with picture and all information to recognize them.

So if you have some fakes in your collection, please send me a PM with good pics and all information you have about them (how you recognize it as fake, size, weight, date...). Please send only your personal pictures, not from other sites!

I will publish the article as soon as there are around 10 fakes listed. It will be regularly updated.

That's a good idea. I like it a lot. I have a China fat man dollar somewhere. Smartone told me the bad news. I will have to look it up. It was more of a newbie thing.  I need to get a scale. But thank you for your work. yours daryl

You need to be a member to log in, but it is extremely informative, the guy (and his team) are real experts to spot the s..t.    ... useful link to all serious collectors!

I agree with you Imre, it's double work. There are many good sites over fakes same as there are many good sites over coins.
But all of them are not Numista
