Citeer: "tom1410"Hello, is still possible to id these? Some old Vietnam coins.

Regards, Tomas
Uhm... I'm afraid I can only recognize the topmost symbol of the first (leftmost) coin. It's "天" (tiān, tian in Mandarin, thiên in Vietnamese, see
http://www.yellowbridge.com/chinese/charsearch.php?zi=%E5%A4%A9 ). Its main meaning is "sky", but may mean also "heaven", "day", "season" and lot of other. In this case, probably it's just the sound of a part of the king's name.
That known, maybe this page can help:
http://www.history.ucsb.edu/faculty/roberts/coins/Annamcash.html
Or you can look for "Thien" in Numista itself (I tried and there are some results, actually. I don't manage to recognize any other symbols, but maybe you do: have a look!).
Hope this can be useful.
Let me know if you find something interesting!
Cheers,
Stefano
