Can anyone identify this coin

I have been all over the net trying to indentify this coin. I think it maybe a coin from Turkey-Ottoman the year maybe 1839(AH1255). I have been finding many different possible claims as to what this is but nothing definate yet. I hope you all can help.

 I think it might be KM#652  which is a 10 Para (I just created the above page). Compare your pictures to those and it looks pretty close. I agree with you it is from Turkey.
 I was expecting to see  ١٠  on it somewhere, to represent the denomination; the date in Arabic looks like a funny 1700 but as you know  ٠١٢٣٤٥٦٧٨٩  is  0123456789  so is 1255 like you said.
 Incidentally, this coin (and five others) are in the  Turkey - Old lira (1844-2005)  section, though they are dated five years before the start of that era.

 Just added this one too, and it looks like yours again! This one is 20 Para (KM#653) from the same date, and whichever it turms out to be then your coin is in better condition.

 P.S. Even though both pages have just been created I see there is already at the bottom of
each page the 'This coin is currently on sale on eBay:' link and the 20 Para picture from that link looks more likely. The 10 Para one is 1255 but does not resemble it, and is KM#667.3 so not the same coin as the page it appears on.

I am not sure if it is the denomination or not but at the top on the reverse of the coin there is the symbol for 3 in Arabic would you have any information on that?

 As it happens, that link above is for the topic right below yours, and Makake77 mentions it is the regnal year. If I understood that correctly, so the  ٣  symbol may mean the third year of the reign of Abdul Mejid.
He became the 31st Sultan of the Ottoman Empire on 2nd July 1839 and died aged 39 on 25th June 1861.
He was born in 1823 and was also known as the one-word name of Abdülmecid.
 So if 1839 (1255) coins have a 1 on for the first year (as there is no year 0) then 2 is 1840 so a 3 is 1841  - which is the system also used on Japanese coins (they have two symbols for the emperor then up to three symbols for the reign year and a symbol for date).
