Hello everyone and a late Happy New Numismatic Year :wiz:

I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be moving to Osaka, Japan on the 6th of January for work for at least 2 years.
I'm pretty sure that I will have no internet connection in the beginning, and that as the Japanese work a lot my time on Numista will also be reduced. :snif:
I'm hoping that someone will take care of the German States and Italian States with me. I had made a remark on this on the referee forum but had received no answer so far.

Cheers,

Paul

Good luck with the move and the new position.  I hope you don't suffer from too much culture shock.
Good luck with the move and job change. Hope all goes good for you and you can get some nice coins too
It is, what it is, or is it.
Good luck and I hope you enjoy ur time there.
I toyed with idea of living in Japan for a while a bit ago, cos it is an amazing country and culture, totally different from all the other places I have visited or lived at, but financial reasons stopped me.

P.S. Japanese coins to ur swap list, yipeee
Hi Paul, I don't mind working with you on German and Italian states. :)

One thing to keep in mind while in Osaka. Bitterly cold in the winter (to CA standards), hot and moist in the summer, what we call "mushi atsui". B)

Alabama is like that.
Ive been there before, winter is pretty much the same as in my place in Germany. But the Summer feels a lot hotter and more humid in Osaka

How many times have you been to Japan, and for how long?
