  Also I see yours is Year 10 from the + symbol at the bottom of your second image, so is 1943 date.

 I look for the 'date' symbol (in green circle) then work backwards. Knowing that the emperor is two symbols (in purple box) then the characters (one or two or three symbols) between are the year number (in yellow circle).

 Admittedly that link is for Japanese coins, but the number symbols are the same. Also I see you joined 5 days after me over three years ago.
