Australia unveils new circulating commemorative

I love Australian commemorative coins, this one included!

Sorry I don't share your taste, I like their circulating commemoratives from the pre-decimal era, but this one is as ugly as they come in my eyes.

I think the circulating commemoratives are nice, but at $1 each they get pricey so fast...

Where's your ANZAC spirit?  

There's no real thought gone into it.  Some of their decimal commems are quite nice, like the silver jubilee 50c coin,

but that one's just words on one side and the queens old mug on the other, it's a little boring for me.

I want that one. A guy called Kirkpatrick. Some of you may be familiar with him he was part of Anzac legend. He was born and raised in South Shields. Another sort of related coin !
