English coin Elizabeth I of England

Hello

I bought this coin and I think it's from Elizabeth I of England.
( I see this on the coin : ELIZABETH)

The diameter is about 24.5mm

But what is the facial value of this coin ?

   The size makes it a  6 Pence; the date on the 8 coins found in the above Search all have the year over the shield. Not sure what date yours is; anywhere from 1561 to 1590 it could be, from that Search.

Hi, the image isn't very clear on my phone, but I think the mint mark is a triangle, as seen on the obverse, just before the E for Elizabeth. I haven't got my Spink book with me so can't give you the date when that was used.
Hope you didn't pay much for a broken, worn coin.

Hi, Just checked my Spink book, there was no triangle mintmark for Elizabeth I - and I still can't make the mintmark out so I'm no use to you, sorry.
