Thanks. Those two are close but not quite right. The design of bust and eagle are slightly different.
We have cleared up the mintmark though, 17F64
Something about this coin feels odd to me.

Thanks. I still think it is a fake of some sort. But that feeling surely comes from my unfamiliarity with the material.
I also can't see why this would come to me at a bargain bin price.

I'll keep it with my Kruger Rand a really obvious fake that would fool no-one-at-all-ever.
