Greetings, I tried to update the missing data for hungarian 100 Forint coins (https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces807.html) but they're locked up until 2007. I have all the missing data til 2010 from a local catalogue, would be nice to add them. Why are they even locked? page is clearly incomplete.
because years are complete up to a certain point. if we would not have this feature to lock complete /
or seemingly complete mintage lists it would be open to any errors we had before. lots of coins look
very similar, some users even don't care about the coin's year they own as long as this coin is entered anywhere. this is why we lock coin sheets - to prevent the spawning of unneccessary errors.
this does not prevent - however - that data is still incomplete or that we do errors as well while
verifying these entries. so that's where your help kicks in: if you ever find erroneous or missing data
(a proof / evidence like an image would be nice then) you might inform us - we will add it.
what information is missing for this hungarian coin?
in sets only - not only the Proof coins, but the BU aswell.
no coins were released into circulation from 1999-2003 and 2005-2006, those years are "in sets only" mintage varies between 3000 and 8000.
I dont know about 2009 BU, 2010 PP+BU, but I suspect theese ones are also "in sets only", because I never found any in circulation, and the 2010 catalogue also has no mintage data for them.
1996 Proof: according to my catalogue, this one is the only low-mintage year that has been released into circulation, or has been sold separately, so its not "in sets only". All other low mintage years are in sets only, would be nice to note that on the page.
