5 Santeem Ethiopia

Hi, I have a 5 Santeem coin from Ethiopia, year 2004 (1996 in ethiopian calendar) but magnetic

This one is not magnetic but the year fits to my coin:

This one should be magnetic but has the wrong year:

Is there someone who has a 5 Santeem coins too and can tell me which ones are magnetic and which ones aren't?

Hi, I know its a topic for 5 santeem coin but I have a question concerning 10 santeem
After reading so many articles and checking catalogues of Ethiopian coins still no idea how to qualify my coins (see below)




Both coins are magnetic, both have two long chin whiskers what should mean they both are #45.2 according to picture on https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces4885.html
But the point is they have different issue year 2008 and 2012 respectively. In this case am not sure if they are #45.3 but maybe description on numista website is wrong.

I think description on numista should be as follows:

10 santeem - non magnetic

Honestly I think the documentation in the comments section is misleading, since the whiskers length are only important for the 45.1 and 45.2. All the magnetic coins 45.3 don't distinguish the whiskers!

Do you mean 45.1 and 45.2 are non-magnetic? According to catalogue they are brass.
