Does anyone know which coin is this one?

I was told it was French Feudal, but I can't find any in Numista with that arms shield, so I don't know if I was told the truth or if this might be a totally different coin.

Hi Erdvilla, it's a ½ Sol - Charles II (Lorraine).
Really cool coin.

But it is part of France, isn't it? Or have the Nazis taken it again?

I don't realy know what the Nazis have to do with the 16th century  :.  but Lothringen was a duchy of the HRE from 925 - 1766.
The shift to France began 1552 when the Vicariate of Metz, Toul and Verdun which were inhabitat by mostly french speaking folk was sold to France and fell entirely to it after the War of Polish Succession because of some treaty or its owner died, don't know.
Yes, as you said, after the alliance with Burgundy on 16th century, the kingdom of France has exercised more and more influence and we can see very similar coins in these duchies and in France early 18th century :D

The recent turmoil on the end of 19th century and on 20th century in these regions Alsace, Lorraine, Saarland, are a different story ...

Hi my friend, it's not an easy challenge :°
On eBay, when it's written "feudal" or "feodal", it's often not a french feudal coin :8D
Besides, beautiful coins are unaffordable 8~

Oh, nice, thanks for the search! I'll give them a serious look and maybe this week I'll punch out another French country/colony/territory/sand-with-3-palm-threes-in-the-middle-of-no-where.

EDIT: Done, got the 7 Euro one as the other one only delivers to France  :~  and this guy does deliver to Mexique.

With France/French on its name I am only now missing:
-Afar & Issas
-Cochinchina
-Iles de France et Bonaparte (I think this is the hardest)
-India

And I think thats it, of course there are some others that fall under the French rule, but those don't have it on their names  :P
