Hello,

I bought this coin last week and I have just received it this morning.
On the pictures, all was OK (A little bit fuzzy) and in the discription no mention of this:

The probleme is on the left side of the head. I think some metal is missing.

Which rank for this coin and which valuation will you give to this coin?

Thanks for your help: Galor
From the crudeness of the lettering and edge reeding it looks like it could be counterfeit ..
? Format  Format  Format ?   ?
Do not argue with ignorant people .. !! They will drag you down to their level, then pulverize you with experience ...
There is something very odd with that one. Iam not sure. But i would go may be counterfeit.  It would had to have metal peal off. When it was made. And the metal under look pouress.
It is, what it is, or is it.
Hello,

this morning I was at an numismatics meeting and an expert say that this coin was authentic.

Weight: 14,30g so there is 0.70 metal missing.

Could somebody tell me, which value this coin can have with this error?

Thanks you in advance: Galor :`
That is great , Still looks odd.  But very happy its real. Value have no ideal.
It is, what it is, or is it.
I always thought that Karlsruhe mint produced quality coins in late twenties of the 20th century, still think so. This makes it rather difficult for me to believe in coin's authenticity. Even if it is authentic, it is damaged beyond salvation.
In my opinion, the value of the coin corresponds approximately to the value of 7 g of silver. If there was anybody wishing to pay a few cents more, I would not hesitate a second before selling such a coin.

I collect coins and tokens which circulated in Africa from 18th century to 2000. I sell about 7000 illustrated world coins from http://www.avscoins.com.
Thank you for your notices.
