Numista shows these coins as being 'Coin Alignment', but I have 3 which are Medal Alignment. Is this usual? Please help.

Indeed medal alignment from 1982 onwards, as indicated in the comment field on the Numista coin page.
The same for 1 and 2 franc.

That was my finding too, medal from 1982-
