Rev: Mint and Kalima in four lines; ○ كرزوان لا إله إلا الله محمد رسول ○ الله (Kurzuwan; There is no God but Allah; Muhammad is the apostle of Allah)
This is one of the few Arabic siege coins available, Chingiz (Genghis) Khan besieged Kurzuwan around June-July 1221 AD. They held out for a few months before Khan massacred the inhabitants.
